Just something I found and wanted to share:
Sponsee to Sponsor: "Are you laughing with me or at me?"
Sponsor: "I'm laughing at you."
Sponsee: "Then why am I laughing with you laughing at me?"
Sponsor: "'cause you're growing!"
When I was first getting sober, I was usually either in tears or mad at my sponsor. Today, after reading this, I realize I've grown a little. "It works!" I can laugh at myself and that's pretty big for me.
