To my AA friends and newcomers here at AASL - please pause for a moments though in these troubled times to remember;
'No society of men and women ever had a more urgent need for continuous effectiveness and perminent unity.
We alcoholics see that we must work together and hang together, else most of us will finally die alone'.
So, with that thought in mind I ask this group of 'ex-drunks' - "Is there anything more we can do to help each other to recover from alcoholism? Can we put more into our group by offering service to our moderators and trusted leaders who give so freely of themselves?
By posting just a little more about our experience, strength and hope we will be showing to others who may visit this group, that unity bonds us all together and increases our effectiveness to help others to recover from alcoholism.
God, help us all,
Anguss.
