Hi Im Sue,
I am new to AA and am very excited to learn a new way of living. Its scary changing your ways and I have had thoughts and have told myself that Im not that bad. Well now that I have been sober for 22 days now there can be no more denile. I have drank every day for years. Always said I wasn't hurting anyone but myself until the nite I had a black out and drove. I hit another car and thank God no one was hurt. I was put in Jail for 4 days and I am now on a tether. I have thrown my freedom away and rely on my wonderful daughters, my sisters and my friends to get me where I need to go. To say the least this is very hard on me but I deserve it all, and it is no ones fault then my own. I have taken responsibility for my actions and know the only way this event will never happen again is by never picking up a drink again. I have gotten a good therapist and have been going to AA meetings. I have my second court date tomorrow and know that what ever happens It is in Gods hands. I am willing to do my part to never hurt anyone due to alcohol again. Just putting my two cents in. Thanks for listening!!
