"F R O G" we all need one

I was told a story about a lady in the hospital who was near death when an area Chaplain came to visit her This Chaplain was a very young female with very long, blond hair. She listened to the lady who was ill and left her a small gift for comfort. It was a tiny ceramic frog. The next day one of the people from the lady's church came to visit. The lady told her friend about the beautiful young Chaplain who had come to visit her. The friend was so impressed with the way the lady had improved and felt the need to talk to the young Chaplain. In her search to find the young gal, she was repeatedly reassured that the chaplains are never very young and that there was never a gal that fit the description given.
Upon returning to the lady in the hospital, a visiting nurse entered the room and noticed the ceramic frog. The nurse made the comment "I see you have a guardian angel with you." As she held the little frog. We asked why she made the comment and we were informed that the frog stood for:

(F) Forever (R) Rely (O) On (G) God

Have several frogs, my favorite is a small stuffed one on top of my monitor. It keeps reminding me to keep it clean. Reminds me that I need to cleanse by body, mind, and spirit. As my sponsor told me many years ago, if you have recovery, show it! Do people see you and see recovery?

I had to clean up my person, detox my body, clean up my mouth, cleans the poisons from my systom and learn to eat healthy, cleanse the old thoughts and behaviors and replace the with new. For all that, I relied on my God!

I have a large ceremaic frog that is in my flower garden. From now on, every time I see it I'll remember: (F) Forever (R) Rely (O) On (G) God. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi MajestyJo, Gina 2840 here, hope you had a good holiday. Earley in recovery I had a lot of frogs. Never new what they stood for. I have and had a strong faith. As for cleansing and detoxing the poiszens out of my system, I was a regular. Ate healty food and no red meat. Oh yeahhhh, all front, outside job today it's a inside job. The more I work on the inside the more the outside glows.
