My doctor has had me on "Suboxone" since my relapse..He said it is used to treat a lot of different areas of addiction and alcoholism. Especially where as it comes to cravings and feeling overall terrible the first couple weeks.

Is anyone familiar with this? I am discontinuing in a week and I wanted to know what I have to look forward too?? I am on a very low dose and I have cut that in half on my own but I am curious..

Mark, you can google it..... says it's used for opioid withdrawal...... use for alcohol is suspect ....maybe your dr knows best CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF1!!!!!AND ASK DR. if any questions --not us drunks

I echo which fishdocdon has posted !! We are alcoholics trying to get and stay sober; we are not medical professionals ... your doctor is most qualified to answer your questions ...
