I just want to thank all the members who've been supporting me through this difficult sex change operation that I've been going through for the past year.
I just completed the last micro surgery to day (April 1st) and everything seems to be joined up and working ok.
Thanks for all your emails and personal messages etc - they sure mean a lot to me.
So, the only thing left for me to do now is change my profile here at AASL - I'll now be known to you as Agness....
I know some of you may find this a little difficult in the beginning but stick with it for my sake. It works if you work it.

Thanks,

Agness.

So...
Are you changing from NOT having sex to Having sex? or the other way around?
Either way... best of luck, I know that it is often a difficult transition ;D

Have a happy Easter everyone.

;D Nice try !!

You have to admit that Sunday surgery is pretty unusual especially when it is also April Fool's Day! :D

Wow a fellow Scot -thats fantastic. Mind you - I should have realised with a name like that!

Imagine Scottish people having drink problems ......... ;D I may live here but I learnt to drink back home - its the local pastime - drinking in the pub :D. Not anymore though!

Yvonne, Is'nt it funny how certain creeds have an unhealthy reputation for the drink? We've touched on this subject in the past somewhere in these forums at AASL and I find it fascinating.
Of course, you don't have to belong to any creed to be struck by the illness of alcoholism as it is not discerning about who it affects.
I do know that it takes no prisoners, therefore we must be constantly vigilant about it's progressive, destructive nature. So, we get to meetings, we talk honestly with our sponsors, we work the steps to the best of our ability and we get well. There are preciouse few guarantees in life but I can assure you that, if you do the above, your life will improve beyond all recognition. Welcome back on board.
