This is my first time on this site so bear with me. I 64 years old and have fallen off the wagon yesterday after all these years. I cannot say I will do it again today but I really don't want to. I need the wonderful support AA has given me over the yers to get me back on track. I am a female and very ashamed. Please help me. Love,Margie

Hi Margie,
I just visited your profile page and see that you do not have transportation to attend local meetings. I am sure that if you contact your local AA, they can arrange transportation for you....do you still have phone numbers? Call some of the people you know in the fellowship. I do not have a car and I ask for rides to the meetings, people are more than happy to provide rides for me.
If that is not an option, there are online meetings several times a day at:

Welcome Margie, remember we do this one day at a time. All you have lost is your dry date, you have all the knowledge and recovery experience within you.

It is never to late to start again. I was able to visit and 12 Step a lady who was 70 and lived to die sober at the age of 74.
