Grateful for the help from the many folks in this program with learning about Step 3 "Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him." amazing truth! No closing of our work location this year, remain focused on taking care of what needs to be taken care of in each moment and, leaving the rest in God's hands!

A day at a time, life becomes what it its supposed to be. We learn what a Higher Power is for us today, maybe not the same as the classes when we were young, but that is OK, because this one is for today. The time that matters. Have a Splendid Day.

Chitown, thanks for reminding me that when I am grateful for what is, there's no time to regret the past or worry about the future.

My sponsor and spiritual advisor kept repeating to me. "Where is your gratitude? A grateful alcoholic/addict will never have a reason to pick up. He/She may have a lot of excuses but no reason to every pick up again if he is grateful for being sober.
Also told me that sobriety meant soundness of mind. I am grateful that I found it through working the Steps.

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Matthew 22:37-39
A Time to Think
Go out into the world today and love the people you meet. Let your presence light new light in the hearts of people.—Mother Teresa
A Time to Act
Allow yourself to be loved and to love all that you meet.
A Time to Pray
Lord, may Your eyes look down upon our lives, loves and labors with joy.:281:

Thanks Saved1!; Love this one too,, Believe its why we are all here on Earth;
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

My brother lost his job today, he worked for good will for many years, Am loosing mine now early 2012; am Grateful to God for
my sobriety because, with what ever time is left before the job is gone, was able to send him a money gram to hold him and his wife and kids over. it's the little things in
life that matter; am Grateful today that God's shown me, it's really not about me it's about others...
