hey family, my name is terri bea and i am so gratful for what the good Lord has allowed me to do today, i have choices today, i don't have to drink or drug even if i want to. one thing i realize is, that success is all i'v ever had. my down fall was self will, everything that i tried to do by myself fell, only because i was in the way. it's not that i still can't have what i want, i just need God to show me His way. this is a check in before i turn her in. sweet dreams
Hi, Terri Bea!! Welcome! ;D

Hi my name is Ruben. This is my first time using this site. I have been looking for a place a can talk. I know there is a God (my belief). I'm just trying to figure out how do I know what he is talking to me or guiding me. I have had a very hard past two years and I'm trying to get myself togethere and it is very hard. Just as a note I am ashmed to tell anyone what I have gone through and asham to talk to anyone of my past.
Ruben, hi! WELCOME!! ;D
Sometimes if I am not sure of what to do, about God directing me, I talk to another recovring alcoholic. It helps me a lot to talk it out.
Love,
Sam

Hi Terry bea,
Mike Risbridger here.
Am couple of days sober. 25 years fooling around with the AA programme has meant a poor life.
But it's never too late, i've only got today and frankly at long last AA is the top of my list because without it I have a life that is riddled with ill-health and a ferocious booze addiction.
Thank God for AA it's there for me always.
Best wishes,
Mike

Hi Rueben,
God works thru others. In the early days it's advisable to check out "Gods Will" with one's sponsor.
Rule of thumb is if we do stuff for others, that's God's Will, if we're are sole beneficiary, that's our will.
Godbless,
Mike R
